PASsIoN

Spoke to a colleague yesterday, he said that this career isn't for him, coz of the immense stress, he feels that family is important and he's married at a young age of 23. What can I say, settled married boy's mentality. I agreed to a certain extend on the commitment that's required at home but didn't agree on just staying on the job if it wasn't bringing much satisfaction.

My take on the general picture towards work was different. I think PASSION brings us a long way. Just like a relationship.. you only pull through if you have the passion to pursue it and make it right. Just like work, no point staying somewhere to work if it doesn't make you happy. Work & relationships work the same way.

But then again.. how do we enjoy work.. I don't know.. I just do.. and perhaps the job you're in is for you when you know it makes you happy. So the guy/gal you're with is the ideal one when u just KNOW IT. When there should be qns asked ... you know, there's something wrong.. GET OUTA IT!

Coz of experiences.. I've come a long way, pessimistic in a way yet positive in many other ways. I'm more of a pragmatist. Ruler is my head, less of my heart. Perhaps I'll go a longer way like that. But I'm a slave to romance.. oops .. I just contradicted meself.

Hmm.. I shall be in thought fer a while.
